Art Midtown

The Midtown Miami Arts District is the City’s newest emerging neighborhood of the arts. It is a thriving hub for rising artists, art galleries, special exhibitions and installations, and will bring an array of cultural, entertainment and fashion events to the area throughout the year. In Winter 2008, the District opened its first-ever Art Park located in the heart of Midtown Miami that features innovative public art installations and a venue for the community to proudly display its own urban art projects amongst grass-lined sidewalks.

Midtown Miami Arts District has quickly become the ‘it’ place of America’s contemporary art season during Art Basel Miami Beach. In its second year, the District will host the best of Miami's art fairs, including Art Miami, Scope, PhotoMiami, Art Asia, Red Dot, Bridge Art Fair, and many more, December 2-6, 2009. Ten city blocks will showcase leaders from the creative arts, the international and national contemporary art movement, and design and fashion industries all in an urban lifestyle setting.
